Announcement from Servicemembers Legal Defense Network
Right now, approximately 65,000 women and men are serving our country even as they are denied the very freedoms they serve to defend. These service members must hide the very essence of their being. They must lie about who they are and who they love because their employer – the United States military – is required by the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” law to put discrimination ahead of qualification. The Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN) has worked tirelessly since 1993 on behalf of these men and women, providing free legal services and advocating for repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” And never before have we had so great an opportunity for victory. Please help ensure this opportunity does not slip away by joining SLDN for its National Dinner and the Freedom to Serve rally:
