The Paint Doctor and the Magical 2010 Symphony Showhouse
As the go-to resource for Atlanta’s top interior designers, The Paint Doctor is regularly asked to help with the Big Peach’s vaunted Show Houses. In Spring 2010, The Paint Doctor worked on five rooms -- the upper landing sitting room, the foyer and powder room, a young lady's bedroom, and a kids' craft suite -- at the Atlanta Symphony Associates 40th Annual Decorator’s Show House & Gardens. We were thrilled and honored to be a part of such a special project that raises money for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Learning Community. Click here to read more. Labor of Love
We spent nearly three weeks working on these now breathtaking front doors on a home in Buckhead. Rumored to be from one of Napoleon Bonaparte’s homes in southern France, the doors were in a poor shape after other contractors had taken shortcuts that left the wood exposed to the elements. It took nine layers of stripper, varying grits of sandpaper, special tools, biodegradable cleaners, and several coats of premium wood coatings to get the doors looking this beautiful and to give them comprehensive protection from the elements and the sun. We are very proud of our work here and are not abashed to say that no one else could have done this nearly as well. Click here to read more. Correcting someone else's mistake
We were hired to repaint this beautiful kitchen in Brookhaven after another company botched the job. Click here to see more photos. |
