LGBT Summer Brown-Bag Series

You are cordially invited to attend the LGBT Summer Brown-Bag Speaker Series featuring prominent lawyers and legal scholars active in the LGBT legal movement. Throughout the summer, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force will host one speaker each Thursday to address a timely topic affecting the LGBT community. All legal interns in the DC area are invited to attend.

On July 2 at 12:00, please join the Task Force in welcoming Amy Nelson from the Whitman-Walker Clinic Legal Services. Whitman-Walker Clinic provides health care to the DC area, specializing in LGBT and HIV positive communities. The Legal Services department offers free legal services to Clinic clients, including document planning, insurance and benefits help, discrimination, and immigration. Amy is a supervising attorney at the clinic, overseeing client intake and coordinating case management with the pro bono attorneys and Legal Services Program Staff.
