Last Chance to Purchase Tickets Online for the Annual Awards Celebration Tonight

AWARDS:

GAYLAW's Distinguished Service Award will be given to David Catania for his leadership in the fight for marriage equality in the District of Columbia.  

The Distinguished in Diversity Award for government agencies will be given to the United States Environmental Protection Agency for its support of the Agency's LGBT employees.   The award will be accepted by EPA General Counsel Scott Fulton.

The Washington Blade and Metro Weekly will receive Distinguished Service Awards for their outstanding media work in the LGBT community.

Hogan & Hartson LLP and Ackerman Legal PLLC will be honored with Distinguished Service Awards.

The Advocate's Washington correspondent, Kerry Eleveld, will be the Featured Speaker.  She will discuss the Obama Administration and LGBT Americans.

TICKETS:

All current Sustaining Members of GAYLAW are automatically counted as "Individual Sponsors" for this event, but can become Individual Benefactors for an additional $50.

Individual Benefactors and Individual Sponsors may list their partners' names in the event materials and advertising in any way they wish. However, should the partner wish to attend the Awards Celebration, please purchase an additional ticket for that individual.

Prices:

Individual Ticket: $75
Law Student Ticket : $45

Brown-bag Briefing on the DC Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Equality Amendment Act

The Gay, Lesbian, Allied Senate Staff (GLASS) Caucus invites all interested persons to a brown-bag briefing on the

DC Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Equality Amendment Act, which would extend marriage equality in the District of Columbia,featuring DC Councilmember David Catania (I-At Large), the bill's lead sponsor.
